Terms of booking

These terms explain how a booking works on Safarnama. The confirmation for your booking states the exact package, price and operator conditions for your trip; where it says something more specific than this page, the confirmation applies.
What Safarnama does
Safarnama compares Umrah, Hajj, Zairat, tour and flight options from Pakistan. Packages are run by travel operators. We show you the hotels, the airline, the measured walking distance and the price, and we name the operator on your voucher once you book. We remain answerable to you for their fulfilment.
Prices
Prices are per person in Pakistani rupees for the room type shown: sharing, quad, triple or double. Visa and all transfers are included unless the package says otherwise.
Travel insurance, laundry, ihram and personal spending are not included. Where a package does not include meals, the package says so.
Live prices and seats come from the operators and can change until you make a reservation. The price of your reservation is set by our server from the live package at that moment, not by what an older page showed.
Reserving
A priced reservation is held for 24 hours and saved in your Safarnama account under a booking reference that starts with BK-. You need an account to reserve.
Nothing is confirmed until your payment has been verified and an agent has confirmed the reservation with the operator. The agent stays available to you in your booking.
Paying
Pay by bank transfer, Raast or cash deposit into the account shown in your booking, and put your booking reference in the transfer details.
Then report the payment inside your booking. An authorised agent checks it against the receiving account before it is shown as paid; a screenshot is not proof of payment. While a reported payment is being checked, your hold is extended by 24 hours.
Travel dates
Group departures can move two to three days either side, because airlines reschedule and visa processing slips. We tell you as soon as anything changes. Please do not book tight non-refundable connecting travel against group dates.
Visas and documents
Visas are decided by the government that issues them, and we do not guarantee a visa. Each journey lists the passport and documents it needs, and an advisor confirms them for your trip.
